The King James Bible

Although I was brought up as a Catholic, I hadn't read a bible until long after school. If you have never read it before, maybe now is the time.  The King James Version has less alterations than any other version.  For example, John Wesley's Translation of the New Testament has 43 omissions from the Greek Textus Receptus from which the King James Bible came.  The New English New Testament has 197 ommissions!
